Summer Day CampS

Who

Females: 2nd - 8th Grade

What

WE HEARD YOU! With great demand from the public - especially our younger players - we are extremely excited to now offer a DAY CAMP option to join us at Karen Shelton Stadium this Summer! This Day Camp is designed for players of all levels of experience. Leave it to us to provide you with a curriculum filled with tools to help you become an even better hockey player. Regardless of if you are an elite player or just picking up a stick, we guarantee you will have a great time and learn a lot.

In our afternoon and evening together, we’ll train fundamental skills and techniques for stick work; receiving and distributing the ball; goal-scoring; defense; offense; and other basic to elite concepts of the game. Game-like situations and drills will also be used to put these techniques into practice. Campers are divided by age and skill levels to provide the appropriate learning environment.

You’ll receive coaching from the UNC Field Hockey players and coaching staff, so you will learn from the BEST of the BEST. We will also have additional coaches helping, including High School coaches, other collegiate coaches, USA National Team members, Carolina Field Hockey alumni, and more so we can create a favorable and very low camper-to-counselor ratio.

We’ll spend time together making memories off the pitch as well by giving you the chance to ask what’s on your mind, see the beautiful campus of UNC Chapel Hill, hang out in the nicest field hockey facility in the country, and so much more. Tar Heel Field Hockey Camps emphasize enjoying and appreciating the game while giving you the resources to improve your game. Each year we strive to make our camp better and better, and we are excited to add this DAY CAMP option for you so we can continue setting the standard for field hockey camps in America together.

Come train with the best, be coached by the best, and leave closer to YOUR best!

This Day Camp option is available only to new Summer 2025 registrants and Field Players. Thank you for understanding that we cannot accommodate change requests for those who have already signed up for the Overnight Summer Camp option. We are very excited to offer this option and appreciate your cooperation as we look to make our processes more efficient to provide a better experience for you along with our staff.
